MESSAGE TO GHANAIANS AHEAD OF ELECTION 2016

 IDDI MUHAYU-DEEN'S FOLDER...
“I am a senior and foundation member of the NDC, the Governing party. But I am compelled to put Ghana First and to defend the 1992 Constitution by saying that the only way Ghanaians can have the Woyome/Austro-Invest joint loot refunded is to change the Government that created, looted and shared the loot with them during the Presidential elections this year... “Even though I am a loyal member of the governing NDC, I cannot in good conscience and in defence of the Constitution support its Presidential candidate to continue leading the looting of the public purse.”

Please these are not my words but that of a onetime Vice Presidential Candidate of the governing NDC, former Interior Minister, former Attorney General and Minister for Justice and more importantly, a Founding Member of the NDC. Surely, the gravitas that this man holds in the NDC, having played a legendary role in its formation and occupied almost all the positions that matter in the governing party, is UNIMPEACHABLE.

You CANNOT love the NDC more than Martin Hamidu. So if today, he comes out to tell Ghanaians that the party [NDC] that he founded, together with others, has now transmogrified into a LOOTING BRIGADE, then who are we to doubt him? Also remember that Martin Hamidu is undoubtedly, the most popular citizen vigilante in the history of this country, who has, time without number, sacrificed 'all his all' in pursuit of our collective interest especially the poor taxpayer. Don't also forget that former President Rawlings has said even worse things about his party, the NDC.

In any case, Martin's position, which is also shared by Rawlings and many descent Ghanaians, has been corroborated by the nation's Supreme Court with the famous create-loot-and-share description in respect of the conduct of the NDC government regarding the payment of dubious judgement debts to its cronies for no work done. If with all of these, you still tell me that this NDC government is not corrupt, then I have every reason to recommend a psychiatric doctor for you. Or better still, I have every reason to doubt that you believe in the existence of God.

It is only in Ghana that when a politician steals, he is referred to as corrupt but when an ordinary citizen steals, he is called a thief. Such social injustice and natural incongruity! What is more nauseating and disconcerting is that these government officials are not even hiding their looting of State funds. They do it so openly and with some swag because they have no shame. Or maybe, they don't respect us. And when we criticize them, they unleash their babies with sharp teeth to verbally attack us and call the bluff of everybody who dares them.

Like the famous Hajia Samira Bawumia recently posited, they don't have the humility to appreciate that we pay for their luxury/comfort with our taxes and therefore they ought to be accountable to us and treat us with some dignity and respect. Of course, when she made this innocuous comment, the babies with sharp descended heavily on her, took her to the cleaners and told her to SHUT UP. They also referred to her as an alien who has no stake in Ghana’s affairs. That is how low these guys have stoop!

These people treat us like trash in our own country. As if they have not been reckless enough, they have now taken their absurdity to INTERNATIONAL LEVEL by accusing the British and the Americans (the two most powerful nations in the Wold) of being in bed with the opposition NPP to make their government (NDC) unpopular. For how long must you and I continue to tolerate these people with their infuriating excesses? Haven’t we had enough?

Well, for me, just like some millions of Ghanaians, I've had enough of them. I’ve had enough of their insults. I’ve had enough of their corruption and thievery. I’ve had enough of their condescension and vanity. I’ve had enough of their incompetence and mismanagement. And that is why I'm VOTING FOR CHANGE and I encourage you to do same if you haven't made up your mind yet. Enough is enough. Our country must work again.

Assalamu alaikum
